Porto Santo, Atlantic Ocean

The voyage started with the crossing of the Gibraltar strait in rather vivid wind conditions, and some concern for Orcas targeting our rudder. Fortunately no such encounter took place, we only saw dolphins during our quite fast broad reach. The usual rather heavy commercial traffic which was perpandicular to our movement posed no trouble to our navigation.

Off the Moroccan coast the wind continued quite strong, but soon gave up and this required quite a lot of patience from our side. Finally, after several days and nights non-stop, we were so happy to reach this little island, in the middle of nowhere.
